Hello

I have google alot for some tips but im unable to find some...
Is it possible too run a WRT54G(S) over USB?
A FON AP can run over 1xUSB, but it use like 5V and 500mA.
A WRT54G(S) use ca 12V and 1000mA, so if i connect it too two USB-ports, will it work?

If you need a router with USB get a Asus router e.g. WL-500G Premium.

Everything else is just wasting your and others peoples time....

You can't power a the WRT52GS from a USB port reliably. The absolute minimum input voltage for the power regulator is 7v, USB will only provide 5v. Many external 2.5" hard drives are powered from 2 USB ports so you are partly right, but my GS uses (up to) 500mA at 12 V which would be 1.2A at 5v - still too much for 2 ports.
