he,
im having problems on finding out if my router is supportet by openwrt.
TableOfHardware didnt helped me, because i dont know wich of these 3 routers is mine.
how can i find out if it works or can i give up on trying...?

thanks

on v5/v6 you can simply place a linux kernel (preferably configured to nfsroot to somewhere) on a tftp server listening on 192.168.1.2. Name it "vxWorks.bin", and the device will download and run it on bootup. There isn't enough flash spac to use it otherwise.

Where can I download a suitable linux kernel to load onto the netgear wgr614 v6 ?

Can the upload be done from the wireless side?

According to the tableofhardware v6 is not supported at all?
I just bought one today and would also like to find out more.

See the above where Kaloz says vxWorks.st?

That's a dead giveaway that it uses vxWorks as its OS .... in other words, it doesn't support linux. sad
