I'm looking for a public/netcafe hotspot billing function. Does OpenWRT + Chillispot do that? Or M0n0wall or Pebble? Can anyone gimme some pointers?
I'm also considering Sveasoft but only if I absolutely have to....

Chillispot doesn't support billing nor does OpenWRT core support it.
But you can setup Chillispot to use a radius server.
If you can get a billing solution for radius, you get what you want.
I think a WRT hotspot + billing without a 2nd server is not possible.
You may want to check out chillispot.org forum for billing solutions.
