Most people solder some wires which then connect to a pin header/jack that fits their serial pinout. Or directly solder a pinheader into these holes.

Yeah, i know, but if you look very closely, you can see that those holes are not open, normally, it would be a hole you could stick a pin in which connects to a serial converter or something, but the holes on my router is closed..

- closed holes are normal
Maybe they were getting filled up when solder paste but no pin headers were placed before reflow oven.
- You can simply remove solder paste (with Desoldering braid/Entlötlitze) and solder on some pin headers after that
