Hello,

I have asked this question in a few places and I can't seem to get a straight answer.  Hopefully the people here are more knowledgeable.

I have an Asus RT-AC3200 that's bricked.  I would like to desolder the flash chip which is one of those 48-pin TSOP parallel NAND varieties.

Now WHAT exactly do I need to flash to it with an external flasher to restore the router firmware to stock?

Is it completely bricked, meaning that even the boot loader is dead and won't output anything on serial port?
Please read the wiki carefully before connecting to the serial port.
