Hi i am replacing a d link 6214 with a linksys wrt54gl - its on its way today
stupid question - can i just use the gui in the linksys firmware to reflash with openwrt white russian 0.9 (i am assuming that that is the version i should be using)?
Followup question - my linux knowledge is limited - is a gui included with openwrt White russian 0.9? or is it possible to install a gui - i have seen a few in a google search - what is the best route to go

1) YES! Use the linksys gui to upgrade! (there's no other SIMPLE way)
2) Yes,there's a gui, but i suggest to upgrade the gui with webif^2 (www.x-wrt.org)
Finally i suggest you (for the first time use) to install directly the image of Openwrt from x-wrt (the firmwares hosted on that site already come with webif installed).
It's up to you.... standard openwrt + your work to install webif or openwrt with webif preinstalled (but I don't remember if it's the latest version of openwrt).
