Hello,

Is the router in subj supported? Docs say WPN824 is supported, but i suppose it's version 1 that's in question there... I don't feel like unscrewing it to find out the chipset on which it's built, maybe somebody has info?

the router seems to be supported, but untested.
i would like to test it, but im a total noob at this stuff..
i heared from my network teacher that i can modify some interesting stuff with openWrt... like the wireless range for example.
the problem is, i have no idea what i have to do to update the firmware.
i was able to get the telnetenable and did that already.. but im not able to find any firmware for the router..could anyone give me a noob-help to set it up?
i would be really happy about any support.
(i know.. kind of wrong topic, but i'm not able to open a new topic)

It's possible... If Needed use modkit for smaller size
Original size ~ 2.8Mb
Need 2Mb

i got the wpn842 v2 ;S

would this cause any problems?

Work in progress... Now this firmware incompatible for V2... Need work with this firmware...

unfortunately this piece of hardware only contains 2 mb rom.
so no special functions and expansion possibilities
