Please ... also need help Recompiling kernel with writable pmon partition

* Checkout whiterussian: svn co https://svn.openwrt.org/openwrt/branches/whiterussian/
* Configure: make menuconfig
* Compile: make
* New firmware at: bin/

but the SDK file not contain all files that i need to compile my own firmware ?

What you need depends on what you like to do.

For most users probably the ImageBuilder is enough to customize the image (see wiki for a howto). Else you have to use the buildsystem (see the sticky thread here in this forum for a howto).

all i need is Recompile kernel with writable pmon partition !!!! Because i need change the CFE because i try to up to 16 Mb of ram thinking that my router was a GS and for my misfortune is a G

now i have 2 question more ...

the source code here https://svn.openwrt.org/openwrt/branches/whiterussian/ is the same thing that the source code that have SDK file ? i say that because whiterussian is a official release and not have upgrade anymore by svn i think so ... all dev is working now in kamikaze.

and imagebuilder not is all precompile thing to build the firmware ?
