Hi all,

I installed the firmware "openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx" on my router,  when I got to the web interface I get the "change password" screen but if I change the passwd I get this error:
passwd: An error occurred updating the password file

same thing on the command line.
here is some more info
mount command:
/dev/root on / type squashfs (ro)
the root FS in mounted as read only :S

also I can see that no space left on "/" ...
How can I fix this? Or can I restore my ASUS firmware ??

Hi all

I try to flush the router using this manual http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Ins … WrtViaTftp

But when I connect to the WAN interface I get replay only 2 times and thats it (IP 192.168.1.1 - route, My IP is 192.168.1.10)...
The TFTP client replay "Timeout occurred"... i use the windows tftp or the TFTPD32.

What I'm doing wrong???
