Hey, I haven't been able to get monitor mode to work in experimental, when the same method worked to get monitor mode in the old stable version.
I'm on a Motorola WR850G and am using Aircrack's airodump to try and monitor packets - no luck. I used the "wl monitor 1" command to activate monitor mode, but that didn't work.
Try using prism0 instead of eth1. The monitoring device name is different in newer wireless driver that is used in the experimental.
For the record, this does work.
The device "prism0" appears when the card is in monitor mode, and works famously.
