Hi

I wonder if somebody has Orange FTTH connection without using livebox?

I'd like to know, if it is possible to use openwrt box instead of original livebox. I want only internet connectivity, not a phone or TV.

I thought that if it is an IP network, it should be posible to do this. Maybe they use PPP or something like that and it should not be such a problem.

Hello Jurino,

If you can provide more informations about the latest Livebox hardware, we could proably tell you whether it is possible or not. I guess this device is a BCM96358 board, which is not supported by OpenWrt (yet).

(yet)...

have you some news about a port in future ? smile

Hi Florian, thanks for a fast reply.

However to run openwrt on livebox would be perfect, I just wanted to use Asus wl-500g with OpenWRT instead of a livebox.

I'd like to know if it is possible.

Did you succeed Jurino to configure your router for Orange FTTH connection ?

Thanks,

Vincèn
