I'm finishing my univeristy thesis and I need to make some measurements about TCP performance over OpenWRt/Linksys

I would like to know if it is posible to change some TCP parameters like MMS, the scaling window factors...I have
found some of them in /proc/... but I'm not sure about what I must do. (I've thought  "echo 1>./proc/....") does it work? Any idea?

And what about TCP version? Can I change from Reno TCP to VEgas TCP (for instance)?? I suppose I must recompile all the firmware with ImageBuilder, must I?
