Topic: Kamikaze ipkg upgrade segmentation fault

Good morning,

after upgrade from WR0.9 to Kamikaze 7.6 on a WRT54G v2 I get this:

root@wap:~# ipkg update
Downloading http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/7 … s/Packages
Updated list of available packages in /usr/lib/ipkg/lists/snapshots
Done.

root@wap:~# ipkg upgrade
Upgrading base-files-brcm-2.4 on root from 8-7431 to 8-7485...

Segmentation Fault

What's wrong?

I have the same problem.
The only difference is that I get the Segmetation Fault right after the Downloading ..... line

Your not supposed to use ipkg upgrade to update the system.  There are technical limitations.  You have probably run out of flash space and thats why your getting the seg fault.  This is a common problem, so search the forum for more information.
