Topic: Did #7 in the "Common mistakes" list - ipkg upgrade

The content of this topic has been archived on 15 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I was kind of stupid doing something like this and not reading anything befor it.

Right know i am still logged in but i can´t establish another connection - the password is not accepted.
And, i can´t install a new firmware, because none programm is found but basic unix operations like ls, mount etc.
mtd and wget are not found and when extecuted from /proc i get "no permission".
Is there any way to safe my router?

Use TFTP to reflash your router. Read also the troubleshoting page.

Thx for your answer, but are you sure, that the router will boot up with an IP when nothing is working?

before it loads its configuration, it's supposed to boot up with its default ip, usually 192.168.1.1
