Hi,

2 questions..

1) Will the default load of OpenWrt run CGI files?

2) Whyt would I want to replace it with lighttpd?

Thanks,
Rich

BusyBox httpd CGI scripts - This page covers the basics, including forms and the like.  In other words, the answer to your question is "Yes."

2) Whyt would I want to replace it with lighttpd?

Um... "Security, speed, compliance, and flexibility--all of these describe LightTPD..." (www.lighttpd.net). My personal answer is that lighttpd has more features than I'd try to cram into a little OpenWRT box, but that's just me - others may have a different answer.
