following configuration as-is:

4 clients + 1 Router are connected to an 8 port switch.
I want to replace the cable from the switch to my router with a fast WLAN connection. The switch itself may be replaced or not - I don't care.

I thought about attaching an AP directly via it's LAN-Port to my router and replacing the switch with a WLAN Router running in "Client Mode".

To gain as much speed as possible I'm now searching for an 802.11n Router supporting 300MBit/sec where OpenWRT would run with supporting the speed and so on.
Which models are currentyl supported which are fulfilling the requirements? I was not able to get an model-overview extract on the "supported hardware page" to have this question answered.
