Recently I have aquired a wrt54g v1 and successfully install white russian on it. After some stupid configuration settings with nvram, I could no longer access the router. I connected the router to my laptop, set a static ip of 192.168.1.2 on my laptop, opened a terminal and ran "nc -l -u -p 4919". After connecting the router and pressing the reset button when i got the "press reset now" message, nothing happens. According to the wiki, I should get a message saying "entering failsafe" (right?). I get no response when trying to ping or telnet into the router. What am i doing wrong?
