Topic: Linksys WRT54GL, WLAN doesn't work

The content of this topic has been archived on 9 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I installed OpenWRT on my Linksys WRT54GL v1.1 (downloaded file "openwrt-wrt54g-squashfs.bin").
Now i can connect per WLAN, but get no routing to the internet.
I'm using a "Gigabyte GN-WI01HT" wireless mini-pci NIC.
The MAC-Filter is disabled and i tried it also with disabled encryption, without success.
I got any problems, when i'm using a ethernet-cable.
DHCP works only on ethernet. I tried it also with a static-ip-adress, without success.
I'm getting no packages from my router and can't ping it.

Sry, for the bad english.

Does somebody know the reason for my problem?

I was searching for the wireless-configfile under "/etc/config/", but i found only a "firewall" file.
Shouldn't there be a file or directory known as "wireless"?

root@OpenWRT:/etc/config# ls -l
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root          922 Feb  3  2007 firewall
