I have created an i2c-tools package Makefile.

don't seem to work for me (at least with the Kamikaze SVN tip).
This link no longer works because the i2c-tools are now in OpenWrt:

really works great! It uses the most recent lm-sensor i2c tools without any modifications.
This makefile can also be used for the broadcom 2.4 kernels - I just needed to remove the DEPENDS line.

did not work for me.
