IÂ´m having problem with iptable rules that i loos on reboot, iÂ´m OpenWrt Kamikaze 7.09

when my asus wl-500gp is rebooted i have to logon to the gui and reapply fw rules

iÂ´m booting from a usb stick and it seems that it takes configuration from orignal flash and not from usb since it takes a few seconds to mount the usb stick

hense the rules are taken from original memory and not the updated rules on the stick, have i missed something in the configuration?

ideas?
