I have 2.6 atheros on a broadcom Asus wl-500Gp. I have setup my wan to be pppoe, this is all working fine. I have set my mtu in /etc/config/network under the pppoe config. But this also set the mtu for the ethernet interface underneath the pppoe link. and I keep getting messages in logread of ppp complaining that the ethernet link is not 1500 bytes. There doesn't seem to be a way to set the pppoe mtu different from the phy interfaces used for the pppoe

Have I missed something ?
