  最近正在学这个，有些问题请教大家一下。
  我下载了网上的firmware下进路由器里去了，我想自己写一段code  ，应该怎么add è¿›image æ–‡ä»¶ä¸­åŽ»å‘¢ï¼Ÿæ˜¯ä¸ æ˜¯åº”è¯¥èŽ·å¾—openwrt的全部source codeï¼Œå† add 进去呢，我下了openwrt.org上的kamikaze7.09的文件 也没有看到有source code 啊。有知� �的朋� �请指教了，在此感谢.

I download them do "make menuconfig\   make ",I succeded three day ago, but fail today.   When I use root mode, the error is "don't compile as root", I can "make FORCE=1" ; When I use user mode, the error is "permission denied".  But I succeded once using user mode.  Why? My OS is Fedora Core 8.

I am Chinese too, you should follow the openwrt packet build your product packet to the openwrt kamikaze.

I had troubles building with fedora as well. Had to make sure that I deleted all the files that had been created by the previous build attempt. I had to do this between every rebuild.

I think you SHOULD NOT using a root account to compile the firmware image according to the section 2.Requirements of wiki: ImageBuilderHowTo
"a non root account (if you use root, generated image wont work)"

I guess that's what "make" command trying to tell you

Just a kind remind, please consider using English in the Forum whatever you good at it or not.

In case you think your question could only expressed better in Chinese, my suggestion is to try your best to give both English and Chinese version of the question. So that nice people from all over the world could help you (I'm sure they don't mind if you are good at moods) every body feels happy.

Thanks, but I use a user mode ,there is always an error "permission denied;touch: cannot touch /tmp/.host....."  I am quite puzzled

I am also from china, suzhou.

as root: chown -R [username] .
as user: make dirclean world
this will get rid of old junk and make sure it compiles again

Oh yeah
