Since the original minipci card form the router does not support wpa in openwrt, I want to use an Atheros minipci card. But then I compile myself openwrt TI AR7 I can't find madwifi, it should be in Kernel moduls, Wireless but there ist no kmod-madwifi. So is madwifi not supported for Ar7?

I've been told that the DG834Gv2 uses a card with the minipci form factor, but it isn't actually minipci, so there's nothing you can do (outside of porting).
AR7 is mipsel, just like the broadcom chipset. There's no reason you couldn't build and install the madwifi package.
yes exobyte is right. The card slot, despite of the standard minipci form factor, uses a proprietary communication protocol called VLYNQ.
The discussion might have continued from here.
