Hey,

I have a usr 805464 just openend to look at the chips.

http://www.usr-emea.com/products/p-wire … p;loc=bene

There is a processor of BCM 4704 KPBG
A switch from BCM 5325FKQMG
Mini pci board of BCM4321LKFBG (pre-N)
Flash chip EON EN 29LV320B-70TCP (4MB)
2 x Etron tech memory EM638165TS-6G (8MB) totale 16MB
UART
Possible JTAG

if i look at the specs of a ASUS WL500-W its the same but the flash is not 8MB
Is it possible to run the firmware from ASUS WL500-W on my US-R 805464

There is a GPL from USR so i think its possible to use openwrt.

Any info on how to experiment with my router is welcome.
Any questions please ask.
grtz Dirk

Openwrt is running on my USR 5464, i've used the kamikaze 7.09 openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx
but tftp could not upload the file, time out problems
so i've lookup the source and there was a version check with the web interface upgrade
i've taken a hex editor and put the usr header infront of openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx  and uploaded that file.
now i have a connection true putty.
now trying to setup my router.
i hope it runs smootly
