Topic: Linksys WRT54GX v2

So... No one has been able to port OpenWrt to this model of router?
My searches for wrt54gx come back with some results from a while ago where people ask about the 54gx and  the topic is ignored.
Is it just that the firmware for this model does not fall under the GPL thing so the source is not available?
