Considering the Iphone can have a BSD sub-system installed, which is close to what OpenWRT uses, how much hacking would be needed to make a WPA-Supplicant (for 802.1x support) build? I'd be interested to know what challenges are involved. Is there a necessity for direct driver communication or is WPA-supplicant a little higher level? From what I can tell it's an ARM 1176 based processor and Marvell for the 802.11 chipset.
I guess it's using a Mach Kernel, which is way different.
