Topic: Unzip Image builder

The content of this topic has been archived on 17 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I'am trying to use the ImageBuilder, but when I unzip:

[giuseppe@junan OpenWRT]$ tar xjf OpenWrt-ImageBuilder-ixp4xx-2.6-for-Linux-x86_64.tar.bz2
bzip2: (stdin) is not a bzip2 file.
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
[giuseppe@junan OpenWRT]$ bunzip2 OpenWrt-ImageBuilder-ixp4xx-2.6-for-Linux-x86_64.tar.bz2
bunzip2: OpenWrt-ImageBuilder-ixp4xx-2.6-for-Linux-x86_64.tar.bz2 is not a bzip2 file.
[giuseppe@junan OpenWRT]$

I downloaded many times, same result.
What I am missing?

I highly recommend using the build-system.

giusepped: bzip2: (stdin) is not a bzip2 file.

I get the same thing.

I presume these files really are bzip2 files, and that I must be missing something.  I also noticed that the md5sum is different from those listed in the md5sum file, (but the same for the file downloaded twice).

The discussion might have continued from here.
