Topic: where does stderr,stdout will get directed during bootup

Hi,

Because of misconfiguration, One of the init scripts are failing during boot time. I checked output on the console during boot time, I don't see any error messages from failing init script. So where does stderr,stdout will get directed during init script execution upon bootup.
