Topic: mpd and german umlaut (charset and openwrt)

hello, well after alot of searching and trying I'm still not happy... My problem is, that I want to display my mp3 tag with mpd correct. If a tag contains a german umlaut (öäü), mpd display 2 garbage chars in the tag file. the fs is vfat, a "ls -a" displays german umlauts correct. I tried to create the mpd db with various settings (fs_charset and tag charset) but without success... someone succeeded to display umlauts in the mpd tags ?

Try installing the kmod-nls-iso8859-15 and kmod-nls-utf8 packages. Maybe it helps.
