Hi!

Is is possible to run my AP with WPA, but have a WDS link wit WEP, using white russian ?
Wiki/OpenWrtDocs/Configuration/A note on encryption with WDS does not mention WEP at all.

My situation is this:
Asus WL-500G Deluxe running OpenWRT 1.0 (WhiteRussian)
other WLAN router (non OpenWRT, OpenWRT is not available for it ;-(

Both act as an AP and they are connected with a wds link.
Until now I ran everything unencrypted, but I decided to use encryption.
The problem is, the other router supports only WEP for the wds link.

So now I have this:
- Asus : WEP for "local" and WDS
- other : WEP for WDS, WPA for clients

I want the Asus to also use WPA for client, but I have no clue, how to set that up.
Can anyone help ?
