Hello,
I have Kamikaze 7.09, mount.cifs v. 1.5..
And when I mount share with mount.cifs I can't read files, create files but I can walk over directory tree. Why this is happening?
In Windows, when I log in (with the same user and apssword) to server with that share i can read and write files...

My mount.cifs command:

mount.cifs //nas/public /mnt/mmc/cifs/nass -o user=public,pass=public321

Output of ls -l /mnt/mmc/cifs/:
drwxrwxrwx    6 root     root            0 Jun 15  2008 nass

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I still trying...

When I login by smbclient i can write files.... but when I login with cifs...I can't, why?

Do you login both with the same user?
Did you try the cifs without an user and give the user everybody rights on the windows share folder
