Hi!
I'm on a Wl-500gP with Kamikaze 7.09 and installed php5.
When executing /usr/bin/php or restarting my lighttpd server it just says "aborted" and quits.
According to ps no php server is running, phpinfo.php doesn't display.
Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem as you - same hardware and same dist. If I try to run "php -q" it just prints "Aborted" and exits. I have tried to install php5 from different respositories, which doesn't help.
I have tried to run php4 which works just fine, but I need to use some functions in php5.
I got it working!
I used the ipkg packages from http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/7 … /packages/. I think that is what made it work.
openjv: If you can't get it up and running, tell me and I will give you some more information about my configuration.
