I am trying to restore WRT150N Restore Linksys Firmware I am a total newbie so can someone help me out? on a step by step? Thx in advanced. I tried installing OPENWRT but I couldnt access the http://192.168.1.1/
If someone can tell me how to install OPENWRT it wiould be perfect too!!
most openwrt images by default will respond over telnet initially. after you get logged in you should set a password, which will disable telnet and enable ssh instead. if you want a web interface (which seems likely from your question), but is by no means necessary, install x-wrt's webif or use one of the images with it already included

I just want the linksys firmware back... please help I tried tftp but they ask me for a password and none of the passwords Ive used on the router work...
Is there some other way to do this?
