Topic: Which cheap router to test OpenWrt?

Hello,

I tried to search EBay for routers I could use to test out OpenWrt, but so far I didn't find anything that fits for me.

I'm searching for a cheap router which has to have a built-in DSL modem. An old discontinued model would be nice.

Which one could be the right one to search for on EBay?

The cheapest one is Fonera 2100/2200. But there is a small problem with Fonera 2100 and the latest Firmware. It's impossible to change the mac address,or there is a way that we don't know!

Be carreful Fonera is cheap (and cool!) but does not have built-in DSL modem...

Hmmm... sorry. My mistake sad

"built-in DSL modem"

By this I presume you mean an Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line or ADSL router as we call them in the UK (Europe) ?

Exactly that's what I need.

You're not going to find one of those cheap. Check the Table of Hardware for devices using either AR7 or brcm63xx.
