Topic: Instalation on a Fon+ (2201) keeps failing

I've tried loads of times to get Kamikaze installed on my Fon+ but nothing has worked, hopefully someone can spot what I'm doing wrong.

I can get into redboot via ethernet fine every time and I've followed most of the install howtos I can find. All work ok but then openwrt doesn't start.

I tried this which followed the instructions in the wiki for installing on the original Fon

Which lets the final create work out the values for itself.

I'm running linux and would rather stick with that, the last time I tried the Freifunk on a vista box I got loads of errors with winpcap so gave up.

Can anyone help?

When installing the AR430W which has similar hardware to the fon, I remember that I had to set a "boot script" so that it executes something automatically on startup.

The important part is:

fis load -l vmlinux.bin.l7
exec

If you want, you can type those two commands in by themselves and the router should boot (after terminating your telnet session). 

Basically you need to type in "fconfig" and then run that boot script automatically to load the kernel from flash and then execute it.
Make sure you put a positive boot script timeout or there is a chance you might be unable to telnet back into redboot.

I've tried that and it didn't fix it, still no boot but as before redboot is still there and working fine.

Any more tips?
