is it possible to have OpenWRT using /etc/localtime file, a standard zic compiled file, instead of /etc/TZ which is generated on boottime based on /etc/config/system ??

what i want is to prepare a file which respects daylight saving from my country and use it instead of /etc/TZ.

is that possible ?

i have tried to place a /etc/localtime file and erasing /etc/TZ, but then clock gets showed in UTC.
