Hi,

I'm using the kamikaze7.09 and its kernel version is 2.6.21.5,

how can i upgrade this kernel to latest i.e 2.6.27.10??

Thanks,
Sharad.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your response, but unfortunately i'm not using "ipkp upgrade" to update the firmware instead,

i'm asking is it possible to change/update the kernel (from 2.6.21.5 to 2.6.27.10)in my build machine and then flash image to my router?

I assume that following procedure
1) openwrt/target/linux/atheros-2.6/Makefile i have to change the kernel version
2) change/upgrade the patches folder

If my assumption correct?

Thanks,
Sharad.
