Has anyone ported any sort of Linux XBox360 controller drivers to OpenWRT?

I'm working on a robotics control setup using an Asus 500GP + Arduino and an iPAQ as the control interface, but I wanted to throw an XBox controller into the mix.

There's a couple of different Linux XBox controller projects out there, but his one looked to be most promising

I'm a newbie to porting to OpenWRT, but not to programming or Linux in general - I'm hoping someone has walked this path before.
