I'm spending somthing like 15 hours around this kind of problems....
The purpouse was to set a static splash page, without login, for users that connect to my network....First i spent a lot of time with nocatsplash (full of bugs...) then with wifidog...but it needs radius server...finally i've tried with nodogsplash, and it works (seems) ok.
The only problem is that i can't configure auto start up with init.d..
Tried with the file linked above, but still nothing.
The current file is:
/etc/init.d/nodogsplash
#!/bin/sh /etc/rc.common
#
# description: Startup/shutdown script for nodogsplash captive portal
#
# P. Kube 2007
#
# (Based on wifidog startup script
# Date : 2004-08-25
# Version : 1.0
# Comment by that author: Could be better, but it's working as expected)
