Topic: OpenWRT on x86 PC running on VMware but no network

I have Kamikaze 8.09 installed in a virtual machine on VMware Workstation 6.5.

I used "openwrt-x86-ext2.image" from the downloads area.

It boots and if I activate the virtual machine console "ifconfig" only shows the loopback.

I have tried setting the Virtual machine network to "bridged" and "NAT" with no success.

As a result, I can't connect with either "telent", "putty" or "Winscp" from the host Windows Vista system.

Any one have comments on how to rectify this?

Forget it, as usual a little deeper searching found the solution at the top if this list of posts, in plain site.
