Hi,
I recently flashed XWrt kamikaz 8.09 on my Linsys router.
I used the correct flash rom (2.4 kernel).

It worked fine I could access the webinterface.
I did not connect it to the modem since I had to search for the ISP Password.

Now I found the Password and was going to setup the router.
But I can not access it.
No IP is assigned to my NIC.
I tried different NICs (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia).
Fixing the IP value etc. does not help.

Only in failsafe mode (DMZ blinking) I can ping the router.

Where is the Problem?
Should I try to reflash the router in Failsafe mode?

You could try logging in in failsafe mode and running firstboot to wipe all the settings back to the Kamikaze defaults:

If that doesn't work, you could try reflashing it.

But one thing is strange.
I always have to set a new pw after I disconected the router from the power source.
