Topic: Restart wireless

The content of this topic has been archived on 16 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

Hello, I have a openwrt router with the wireless interface in client mode.

I sometimes change the /etc/config/wireless file and I must reboot the router to get working with the new config.

Is an other way to restart just the wireless interface, instead of reboot the router?

Thnaks for all.

Just run the 'wifi' command. This rereads the wireless configuration.

Thanks for your reply. I will try when arrives at home.

But the idea is to change the AP on the /etc/config/wireless file and commit this change with a command.

Thanks for all.
