Hi,

I would like to try the new 8.09.2-RC2 on my linksys WAG54GP2 v2. I don't care about the voice ports. Did anybody try it before? Do you recommend/not recommend?

There are several files in the folder:  http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/8.09.2-RC2/ar7/

openwrt-WAG54GP2v2-jffs2-128k-code.bin             14-Sep-2009 05:51             3670068
openwrt-WAG54GP2v2-jffs2-64k-code.bin              14-Sep-2009 05:51             3604532
openwrt-WAG54GP2v2-squashfs-code.bin               14-Sep-2009 05:52             2621492

Any idea which one to use?

Thanks a lot for any hint!

Br,
Emre

No clue? Anyone? smile

Thanks again...

Use the squashfs image.

Thanks for the hint! I flashed it with TFTP with command under Windows:

tftp -i 192.168.1.1 PUT openwrt-WAG54GP2v2-squashfs-code.bin upgrade_code.bin

It flashed successfully, but didn't work, always rebooting with the flashing power light.

I recovered by flashing again with original firmware.

Did I miss anything? (like creating partition in ADAM2 etc.?)

I tried again with the latest 10.03.1-rc3 but no joy.

1) It does not upgrade using the squashfs.bin file from its web interface. It says flashing failed after upload.
2) It can be flashed with tftp, but the power light continiues to blink endlessly. I reflashed the original firmware but now it still can't boot.

I guess i bricked it sad

I don't know why developers put an image which can't be flashed...

Back with the same question, any help on how to flash the latest 10.03.1?
