Topic: fonera 2202 and usb ohci support

The content of this topic has been archived on 29 Apr 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I have flashed my fonera 2202 with KAMIKAZE (8.09.1, r17964), All works fine but not the USB 1.1 devices. In some cases attaching a USB 1.1 device such as prolific 2303 lead to kernel panic.
It's seems a problem on support of OHCI, does anyone experienced the same problem?
maybe a new ticket should be open?

Any suggestion will be appreciated, thx.

According to the fonosfera team it is a known hardware issue that cannot be fixed in software. The usb host crashes when operated with USB 1.1 devices. The official suggested workaround is to add a powered USB 2.0 hub.
