Hi,

Can someone help me in configuring my Kamikaze box (WRT54GS v1) in Bridge Mode - A simple "switch" & Wireless Access Point ?

The WAN port, 4 LAN ports and WiFi all bridged, with no dhcp/firewall/routing/NAT, with a static 192.168.1.x IP.  I will be putting Kamikaze behind another router ("home router"; 192.168.1.1).

   Cable Modem <--->  Router1  <--->  Kamikaze
                                      ^                      ^
                                      |                       |
                                 DHCP, DNS,        Wireless accesspoint/switch
                                 Firewall, NAT       Asterisk, no DHCP, no DNS, no firewall, no NAT

Router1's LAN port connected to Kamikaze's WAN port.

I read through the topics on bridging, network interfaces - but am not exactly clear on what do to get what I want.

Thanks !

Bridged client-mode is not supported...

I am not sure if my post on how to configure a Netgear WGT634U as a switch without WiFi will help. At least, now my WGT634U unit, flashed with a self-built OpenWRT firmware, that hosts my Asterisk PBX system is acting as a switch for other devices to connect to the Internet through its LAN ports.
