Topic: Kamikaze + Whiterussian + common DHCP server for 2 vlans

The content of this topic has been archived on 12 Mar 2018. There are no obvious gaps in this topic, but there may still be some posts missing at the end.

I have these distributions running on 2 WRT54GLs.
Say Kamikaze is on Device 1 and Whiterussian is on Device 2.
This is what I'm proposing:
Device 2 will be assigned a Local IP address of 192.168.2.1
Device 1 will stay with 192.168.1.1
Disable DHCP server on Device 2.
Disable br0 on device Device 1.
Interconnect Device 1 to Device 2, Lan port to Lan port.

Would DHCP server on Device 1 issue 192.168.2.X IPs to clients connected to Device 2?
Would WiFi on Device 1 remain operational with br0 disabled?

I'd give it a go but I'm a newbie and don't know how to disable the bridge on Device 1 (i.e. br0).
Can someone help? Thanks in advance.
