Topic: Kamikaze iptables forwarding problems

Hello,
I posted my initial message here:

i have this weird problem with the port forwarding, it works fine and then after sometime (2-3 days) it stops forwarding
it only happens for Iax, and Sip ports rest is fine.
I tried to do tcpdump to see if packets are leaving the internal interface , but they not
they hit the wan interface and they are not forwarded,
i tried to update the firmware but it did not help,
i am running:


BusyBox v1.11.2 (2009-02-18 11:27:08 CST) built-in shell (ash)
KAMIKAZE (8.09, r14549) ----------------------------
kernel:

root@OpenWrt:~# uname -a
Linux OpenWrt 2.4.35.4 #12 Wed Feb 18 12:17:45 CST 2009 mips unknown

    * resolution set to fixed

proper fix added in r16141 also backported to 8.09

thx, what is the procedure to update openwrt,
lasttime i tried to do it trough the gui and broke everything and i had to reflash it and start over,
is there a way to update and keep the config?
