I'm trying to set up an OLSR mesh. I installed the olsrd-luci package but the OLSR option doesn't show up in the Services tab. I'm working with OpenWRT Kamikaze 8.09_RC1 (r13787). Can someone explain to me why it's not showing up in the interface????

I think you need to install additionaly the following package:
luci-app-olsr
And if you want to modify init scrip symbolic link to automaticaaly start olsrd on next reboot you
may want to install the following package too:
luci-app-initmgr
