Topic: how to enable ipip tunnel (ip in ip encapsulation)on kamikaze ?

I want to use the ip in ip encapsulation
so I configure the source "kamikaze_8.09.1/build_dir/linux-brcm-2.4/linux-2.4.35.4 " by make menuconfig
and change the "Networking option----->tunneling" to "M" as a module.

but configure failed:
the file .config in kamikaze_8.09.1/build_dir/linux-brcm-2.4/linux-2.4.35.4 was overrided when do make in kamikaze_8.09.1/

who knows how to enable the module?
