Hi all,
well .. me myself dont know how to creat firmware..
but im searching for a firmware to use my router (WRT54G) like a bridge to connect it to an other router (wirelesly).
Can any one help me and tell me what firmware to use
(its a pritty long distance and with the HyperWRT i can make it 
)

You can also make it with OpenWrt just look around the wireless/switch configuration, and more particularly the nvram variable called wl0_mode that can be set to "wet".
